Child Portraits at Hudson Mills Metropark, Dexter

Child portraits on location are always a lot of fun. When my clients prefer a location not at home, it is also nice to do portraits at the local park. So for this particular family portrait, that’s exactly where we went.

Now, behind every adorable spring portrait like this one, there’s a silly outtake. Or, in this case, a planned silly experience for the kids. I had the kids do a variety of things — cartwheels, jumping, etc… but this one of them was the winner for mom and dad. I know it will look great on their family portrait wall, or wherever it ends up hanging!

Doing your child portraits at Hudson Mills Metropark is a great choice... the results look great, don’t you think?

The river and walking paths provided a great variety of portraits, all within walking distance. I am all for making things as simple as possible for my clients! Especially when children are little. It's hard to walk for a long time to get to a cool-but-remote location for a child portrait session. Instead, let's use that energy during the photoshoot itself!
