Bridge over the Danube in Bratislava, Slovakia

While on our cruise along the Danube River, our boat stopped for the day in Bratislava. We had some free time to enjoy the city on our own, and this is one of the places that we went. The Most SNP Bridge has a flying saucer shaped restaurant on the top of its support pylon. After stopping in the aptly-named UFO restaurant for a drink, we went up to the observation deck.

From there, we had a fantastic view of Bratislava and the Danube River. After passing under this bridge in our cruise boat, it was definitely interesting to see things from a bird’s eye view!
