Business Portrait: Amy’s Elegance
I recently created a business portrait for Amy Cattell of Amy’s Elegance By Design. Amy is a talented custom seamstress who I’ve gotten to know over the past few weeks.
Amy was looking for a new updated business portrait, so that’s what we did. Executive portraits like this are often most impactful when you keep things simple. This first portrait really captures Amy’s personality and joie de vivre. Amy selected this image as her favorite.
While we were discussing the different options, this second portrait kept coming to mind. Obviously it’s not the typical engaging portrait, since Amy isn’t looking directly at you, but all the same, I love the sense of timelessness in the image. The platinum toning gives the portrait an old-world feel.
