Visit to Virginia (to speak)
This past week went by very quickly! The nephews had a lot of sports events going on, and I went to Virginia for two days. So, what was I doing in Virginia? I was one of three photographers invited to speak at a seminar held by the Virginia Professional Photographers’ Association (VPPA).

The weekend flew by very quickly, and my program on Sunday afternoon was fast-paced and full of information. I won’t get into the details, since a lot of it was tech-geek stuff — but I had a couple photographers come up afterwards and tell me they came to the seminar specifically to see my program. How awesome is that?
The trip was so short that I didn’t even take my camera equipment. But I did take my pocket camera, and was able to find the time to create a few images to share. Here’s one of the hotel:

I always enjoy having a window seat, because it means I get to look outside! And I couldn’t resist capturing a few images either. So here are a few in-transit images. I’m kind of liking the grunge vintage feel of these:

I wish I was closer, I’d have been there just to hear you speak, too. You have an amazing way of sharing and teaching that is well worth being there for.
Wait, we had a pool there!?
Glad you could make it – your presentation was awesome!
