Photographic Artist Attends Exclusive Institute
Traverse City, Mich. – Betsy Finn of Betsy’s Photography in Dexter has completed course work at the Great Lakes Institute of Photography, a school for professional photography and digital imaging.
Betsy participated in a week of intensive study with Bry Cox of Utah, honing the craft of photographic imaging and professional business management along with more than 100 other photographic students from Michigan and several other states. Classes were held June 11 through 15 at Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City, Michigan.
“Photographic Imaging is a profession that demands constant education and professional development,” said GLIP director Mark Allen, certified Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman. “We’ve been proud to bring some of the nation’s top photographic instructors to Michigan to teach and inspire our students.”
Ten classes were offered including digital imaging, portrait and wedding photography and advanced artisan instruction. The school, which celebrated its eleventh season this year, is affiliated with both the Professional Photographers of Michigan and the Professional Photographers of America, Inc.
