The Value of Photography: Capturing Your Stories…
Earlier this week I had the pleasure of meeting with the Ann Arbor PEO Chapter W (see the photograph I created for them last year). I gave a program on photography: “Capturing Your Stories…Creating Today’s Treasures and Tomorrow’s Heirlooms.”
To the women of PEO:
Thank you for inviting me to give a program about photography. It was a pleasure to share with you and hopefully give you a greater understanding of the value of photography. I enjoyed talking with you during lunch, and I hope that you all enjoyed my program following lunch! Our lives cannot be summed up in photographs, true – but through photographs we can share our stories with others and treasure each memory. Thank you so much for allowing me to share my images and thoughts!
The women of PEO were a wonderful audience! I’m pretty sure they enjoyed hearing about the value of photography, when to use a professional, and those times when it’s ok to D-I-Y (“do-it-yourself”).
